HISTORY
“Jaroslaw Dabrowski Street” was a former farm road of the village of Mokotow and ran from the Novo-Alexandria tract through the grounds of the brickyard and gardens in a westerly direction, and was originally called Franciszka Szustra, commemorating Franciszek Szustra, the owner of the surrounding estate and palace. The first buildings began to be constructed along the street as early as the beginning of the 20th century, the street became part of Warsaw in 1916, and the real construction boom began in the second half of the 1920s, especially in the middle section, where a housing cooperative housing estate “Domy Spółdzielcze” was built. Later, development also reached the eastern section, where the street was built up with tenement houses.”
